Midori is a Montreal-based company whose mission is to democratize access to scientific information, so consumers are empowered to make better purchasing decisions. Built on their community’s needs and feedback, the free and impartial tool can be added to a web browser. The extension flags potentially harmful ingredients contained in the personal care products (PCP) our users browse on Amazon, Sephora and Ulta Beauty. As the community keeps growing and the tool keeps improving, Midori hopes to minimize the impact of greenwashing on consumers by keeping brands accountable and helping them increase transparency.
